辛卯敬告天下善長書
敬啟者︰
惟當今之世，諸網之中，維基名列第五，月助四百五十萬人，所閱不下十億。
營商無罪，廣告有理，然此非維基之道也。
夫維基者，特立獨行，若書齋、如公園、似思寺。身處此地，無論何人，皆可思索、皆可學習，所謂集思廣益，正在此也。
維基草創之時，本可成公司，謀盈利，卒棄而不取。自是以降，守成艱苦，克勤克儉，迄今依然。所為者，為孚眾望，為遂吾志而已。
若人人樂捐，則五元之微，誠亦足矣。然有心者未必有力，有力者未必有心，故實難如是。猶幸年復一年，善長尚算不鮮。
是年也，為續維基，為存大典，尚祈慷慨解囊。多多益善，少少無拘。不論五元美金、十元歐羅，千元人仔，皆不勝感激。
