Summary

Description English: This image is created from eight images shot in two sequences as a tornado formed north of Minneola, Kansas on May 24, 2016. This prolific supercell went on to produce at least 12 tornadoes and at times had two and even three tornadoes on the ground at once. Applications-graphics.svg This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: The background with blue sky comes from a different sequence (00:43) than the one containing the tornado (00:49). This photomontage created with Photoshop merges eight images of various sources, using fuzzy outlines and extra patches to give the illusion of continuity. The current presentation is an artist's view that does not correspond to any scientific reality regarding the layout of the elements in visual space and their natural rythme within the storm.
